My First Post

I decided with our precious baby girl on the way to go ahead and jump on the blogging-bandwagon! I think it will be a great way to keep family and friends updated on our latest family happenings, plus I think I owe it to the blogging world after blog-stalking so many people for the past couple of years :) Today, I am 36 weeks along! 4 weeks to go... maybe less, hopefully not more! I have really enjoyed the whole pregnancy process but I'm not too upset that it is coming to an end - Andy and I are so ready to meet Brynlee! Her nursery is still not ready but hopefully I will tackle the rest of that project this week and maybe even post some pictures of it (if I learn how all of that works)! We did break out the video monitor yesterday and give it a test run... Andy did a great job of acting like a crying baby! Well, I'm guessing my posts are going to be relatively boring until little miss Brynlee makes her debut! Stay tuned though... it should get interesting!

Oh, and the background behind the blog name... I have been searching long and hard for a saying to put on a sign above Brynlee's crib and finally stumbled upon the perfect one. The inspiration came from Psalm 139: 13 - 17 (specifically verse 14)

(13) For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. (14) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (15) My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, (16) your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (17) How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

I believe that everything is wonderfully made through God; including my loving husband, our marriage, our loving families, and of course over 9 months He has been knitting together a fearful and wonderful baby girl to join our precious family. I pray that I will continually praise Him for all of his wonderful works.
