And I hope to take yearly pics with Brynlee and her Christmas Tree. Last year it was displayed at my baby shower, and here she is this year (trying to eat an ornament, of course)!!
Brynlee became even more interested in her books and us reading to her
We went to the Dallas Arboretum to see Santa. We had all the time in the world with Santa since the only other people that go to the Arboretum on a Thursday afternoon in December are Senior Citizens :)
Since she did great with Santa at the Arboretum, we thought we would take her to the Frisco Fire Department Fire Safety Town to see Santa again! This time it didn't go as well...
On December 19th we dedicated Brynlee at our church. Our family that lives in the area were able to attend as well as Granny and Gramps who came in early for their Christmas trip to join us!
We started our Christmas celebrations that night at Heather's house. We played "Minute To Win It" games and had a blast! Here is a video of one game we played - I think Andy won! There is not a video of the "impossible" game I won - I stacked 3 golf balls on top of eachother! Not to brag or anything :) but I was the only one able to even get 2 stacked on top of eachother (I think)!
Some of Brynlee's loot from her first Christmas celebration!
The next day we had Christmas at my Dad's and Santa came to visit!
I was so excited about our first Christmas with Brynlee! We had family over on Christmas Eve for lunch and they joined us for the Christmas Eve Service at Preston Trail. We read the Christmas Story (Luke 2), opened a couple of presents (PJs and a family game) then put Brynlee to bed so Santa could start working on her gift!
Santa's gifts for Brynlee! How did he know she wanted a Brynlee-size table?!
We had a wonderful Christmas Day! Brynlee loved her table, we now have a love/hate relationship with it :)
The next day we celebrated Christmas at Jim and Barb's! Brynlee could not get enough of Jim and his white shoes walking her around - it was pretty funny!! And of course, we all enjoyed seeing how big Cora Jane is getting. It will be so much fun when the girls can really play together :)
On the 27th Brynlee turned TEN months old! Even though she was not a fan of me during the cupcake pics, I think they turned out great!
We tried to get some good pictures of Brynlee and Cora Jane, but it just wasn't working out. It made for a fun sequence of events though!
We went to the aquarium, and so did everyone else in the metroplex. Goodness gracious! It was packed!
Brynlee ended the year celebrating with a sock in her mouth. She loves socks! Hers, mine, Andy's stinky socks, any of them... and they always end up in her mouth :)
